The website

Every muhurat list, panchang, festival calendar and open dataset on bela.so is free to use, ungated and account-less, and stays that way. The timing shown is computed deterministically from a classical Vedic-astrology engine (drik ganit) — see methodologyfor exactly how. It is offered for guidance only, is not a substitute for a qualified astrologer or professional advisor, and timings are geolocation-dependent — always confirm against your own city's panchang before scheduling anything time-sensitive.

The app and subscriptions

The Bela app offers three monthly subscription tiers at launch pricing — Starter (₹99), Pro (₹399) and Ultra (₹999); seepricing for what each includes. Subscriptions are sold, billed, renewed and cancelled entirely through the App Store or Google Play, under their respective terms and refund policies — we do not process payments directly and cannot override a store's billing decision. You can cancel at any time from your App Store or Google Play account; there is no separate lock-in on our side.

Acceptable use

Use the site and app for their intended purpose — checking and planning around computed timing. Don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at abusive volume, or misrepresent computed output as something other than what it is. The open datasets linked from/datasets/ are separately licensed CC-BY — that license governs their reuse, not these terms.
